First, a warning. There's a bit of 'unnecessary violence' in the story.
Second, this is a storygame, but there are a few differences. Firstly, to heighten the experience, I ask participants to put something on the line for the story. Before anyone is allowed to vote, there is an entrance fee (currently 70 fables). This is called 'sponsoring' because the next step is picking a character in the story to be represented by. The list of characters is in the Fabled Island Trading House (FITH) in the Market Bizarre. Once a character is picked, they have a stake in the story. When that character gains Fables, the participant sponsoring him does too. If the character dies, the sponsor loses his stake (so don't let them die!).
Though it sounds like a traditional RPG, it isn't. There are no individual decisions. All decisions go through the poll system, like the other storygames on IF.
And that's all! 70 Fable entry fee, pick a character, and that's it. No commitment is needed (though it is encouraged). If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
