Time to Vote!
The rules this year are slightly different from years past. 
To give all nominees as fair a chance as possible, Authors were invited to submit an excerpt from their Storygame. Where the Authors were absent, the best representation in the context of the category was found and posted for them. This year all citizens are eligible to vote, regardless of whether they have played the storygames before.
All that is asked of you before voting is:
- To read all the excerpts posted in the voting threads below.
- If you've never played any of the nominated Storygames in the category, or even only played one, that's ok. Make sure you've read a whole chapter of at least two of them before making your decision.
- Take extra special care that your decision is unbiased, i.e. based on the quality of the storygame and not influenced by any online or RL friendship you may have with the Author.
Only one vote per human being, please! Do not use multiple user identites to stack up extra votes. These will be disqualified.
If you are sharing the same computer or network, (e.g. siblings at home, or sharing at school or work) you may vote seperately as individuals provided you have already let the current or previous mayors know who you share with. If you're unsure about this, send me a PM.
The polls will run for 8 days after which the winners will be announced.

The Voting Phase ends on 21st September. so if you haven't vote yet, hurry!
Don't forget, in the 2009 IFYs anybody can vote - just read the excerpts in the categories, and if you're not familiar with the storygames, take in a chapter before voting. 
At the time of this post, two of the categories are in a tie situation - if there is a tie at the end there'll be a 3 day poll between the tied winners!
