I was looking around and saw a thread about something called 'storychat'
From what I read, it would be an interestig venture, and it was enjoyed in the time that it was an active event.
(I would also like to point out that every link given to an example of a storychat no longer works)
I was wondering...who would want to try one with me?

Well, let's see who's on at what time, maybe some of us could 'make a date'. 
I'm on GMT at the moment, and am around during the day, particularly on Mondays, although I do peek in for short periods on other weekdays too. Mid afternoon during the week is also good for me.

As I recall I think they were typically Sundays about 6pm GMT which is between 11am and 1pm ish across the US. I think we found that time to be one of the better ones for getting most people in.

My swing shift is unpredictable, but it's only part time, so pick a time and there's an 80% chance I can make it. PST time zone, by the way (as of next Sunday).

well in the Ifki and in the thread "storygame" they did not work for me...
I'm not sure about being the author really, I realize t's the first idea to think of when it is I who wants to bring them back, but i don't exactly know how to XP

It's basically the same as a storygame, just at a high speed. There's one author who writes a "chapter" of a few sentences at a time ending in a decision point. Everyone else offers suggestions, and the author creates a poll where people can vote.
It can be quite crazy for the author, but it's definitely fun and you can get some good stories. I'd be happy to author the first one as long as someone else organizes the time and gets the players there.

I have also authored a few storychats, but you know, it's just like doing normal storygames, only much faster and much shorter chapters. There's a simple interface for putting up a poll and voting, plus you have your own section for writing the story. The readers can chat with each other in the meantime.... It's pretty groovy.
It's too short of notice to do it this Sunday, but that hasn't stopped me before. I'll jump into the storychat area at 6pm GMT (11 am in California, right?). Maybe we can improvise something.
AND for everyone who has to worry about it, don't forget about Daylight Saving Time! Turn your clocks back an hour!

Well, that was the first Storychat I was able to witness live, even though I was only able to drop in for a few minutes at a time. But it was quick to catch up on chapters in between times, and I was even able to vote on one of them.
I think (not sure?) that the story is going to be continued - is there going to be another Storychat planned?
