Hey there. This'll sound arrogant, I know, but I need a worthy challange to my mind's poetic talents. I tired of just writing what comes to mind, and I'd like to try and write what just pops into OTHER peoples minds. This is reletivly simple. Give me somthing, like a word, a concept, a piture, an emotion, a story, a song, anything! I can work on more than one at a time, so feel free to fire away. I will request that each person can only set one challenge at a time. Once I write a poem for your challange, you can send me another one!

I throw it left
but it jumps right
the ferriswheel
of flying soap
Leaping upon
unwary fauns
rubbing their noses
til they're brown
Growing along
the nile's banks
the wheel of gross
it's poo monsters make
with light in hand,
I fair not well
my own saggy bottoms
digging where I fell
it's grave of tacks
and viper fangs
with grit and candles
I flee from my bane
"Give me a hand!"
I cry to the night
a zombie hands me one
falls down my pants all night.
The concept was a bit vauge, seeing as I don't know exactly waht you find funny, but I hope this wasn't too horrible!
I'll post another just in case.
Around and round the round dog ran
his stomach full of treats and man
His head held high, in sad disdaine
down beneath the pouring rain
The treats for the high and mighty cat
now within him, becomeing fat
With cool and fragrent wafts he felt
not the sting of master's belt
Nor the pull of his toes so fair
as the sock triped him down the stair
now for folly, his revenge complete
says the sock whom half did the dog eat
"Fare thee well I say, my time is past
for now he's gone I may rest at last
grieve not for me, I am but one
of a pair of lovers, now off the throne"

Who had a case of painful mumps

In vain hopes they would go away

With villages of sand and stone
And crystal waters all their own
This land of heat and chilly nights
Gazes upon the dwindling lights
With a beauty all it's own
And a the people it has grown
So give mu just one night here
Where I know there's naught to fear
But the coldness of each night
Before the coming of morning light
Good Dubs -
While I must admit
I love me some subs
I guess there's something
To say about dubs
For those who are to slow of mind
Or those those whose eyes are unkind

Convenience -
Today I find too man people
drawn into the dreamy world
of delightful convenience
Where less wise men wonder
and free thinking is fleeting
No one thinks beyond the TV screen
and minds are muddle and mashed
like the mewling of moronic music
spewed from the mouths of lesser men
What's right here is what matters
and the whys of the world go unanswered
Tis sad
But when it comes right to it
