Of course, unless you are the type to sit in a dark room naked, fondling your parts, or are the sort of person who enjoys abusing innocent children and animals, or perhaps shouting needlessly foul language at passing grannies, then you may not want to read on.

Good read Dark. are grenades or flash bombs considers high tech devices? if not, everyone could be blown to bits or at least have their eyes totally screwed by bright lights, giving gloom the opportunity to escape and challenge the Dark later on more equal ground. Otherwise, surely Gloom grabbed a knife in the arsenal? I doubt our good inspector could defeat the dark without a gun, but it could save his skin long enough to get out of the conjuring room.

Running sounds like a sound plan right about now - discretion is the better part of valour and what not. Plus, as long as you survive, it doesn't count as being defeated. Sound logic there.

Small typos.
Hmmm, why weren't there more guards? You'd think Ice would want to ensure safety for the summoning, and one guard is a meager defensive measure. What if Prime had interrupted the summoning?
Also, considering what we know about the Ice bitch, you wouldn't think that she'd like taking orders from anyone. Why would she want to share the world with the Dark?
As for what to do...use our resourceful AI again, though of course, the magic in the room might impede the use of technology. If possible, order the AI to flash the lights all of a sudden and blind everyone, then run. Otherwise, running sounds good right now.

Hmmm, entertaining chapter, although the popcorn ran out.
Given that a grenade is more of a chemical reaction than anything technological/electronic it sounds like the only recourse. Hopefully he's picked up a few, and not ones with electronic timers as that screws up the plan.
But that's just for distraction and perhaps causing some injury if lucky. In general the plan is running. A knife fight ain't going to be too successful, unless the life fluid stuff is still active that is. Not worth the risk.
Running isn't a great long term plan though. Some kind of flamethrower might be nice next time he meets the Dark.

How about trying to grab Ice as a hostage or something?
Overall I'd say a tactical withdrawal is in order, to regroup and get out of range of the dampening field. Tho no doubt he has something up his sleeve that could help. Surely he is prepared a bit better this time?

If it was the last chapter, we'll be missing out on a lot of funny stuff, but hey, Gloom deserves it.
And what do you people have against running anyway? What's the fun in blasting your enemy into smithereens with a grenade, when you can blast your enemy into smithereens at a later time with something with more WHOOMPH in it?
