Just noteing here, a few things about my poetry...

When left to my own devices, none of my poetry seems all that different from one to the next. I'm sorry for this, but it's just how I am. That's why I made the Challenge Me thread. But here, for you reading enjoyment, I'll be posting my random poetry moments. I most likely will double post on day where the poems just roll, so sorry if you don't like that

One final note! I will put these ++++++ when starting a new poem on a single post, seeing as I never name my poems....It's a bad habbit, I know, but no names ever seem to fit my poetry.

So! Enough of that, on to the poetry!

+++++++++++++

I see above the light that spawned me
I see below me the dark I long for
I ever pray for the day I can return
I feel the pull so strong and sweet
I am without and within what can never be
Last for a day, a month, a year
Live with it, or without it, I can never tell
Give me this, or just leave me
My first, my last, my everything

Haven't the foggiest. Most of my poetry makes no sense to me.....Whelp, here's another one!

++++++++++++

In all that is found
lost forever is the meaning
made once from the soul
now all but dust and scrap

Grieve not the sights and sounds
brought here by the god of Death
or too here by the God of Destruction
for all is to rot with each it's end and fault

Here ye see what has been
and what all may be to some
but without sights far beyond this place
there is no future in this lonely place

I like that last one too. Double ended with Place there which I avoid like the plague if writing poetry but the message was poingnant and powerful...

I love the song that says much the same thing btw... Dust in the Wind

Grate and grind, sounds of my heart
growing louder with each day
Feel not felt the one of love
pained in every way

Without so much as a wayward glance
I stand here near by his side
lost without him within
until the day he died

Grant me this peace I seek at last
just give it up to me my friend
or I myself will do it here
bring about my end

Living beyonde him is not a thing I can do
so here give me my last wish
grant me my final eternity
come, and give me this

Weap not for I will not truly die my dear
I will go along to see him in the dark
and when the time comes for you
you too will lose your spark

+++++

More oddness comin' from my mind

The last place I wish to be
seems to be the place I find
where I need to be

I think on this and then I find
I can not believe what is here
in the place I least wish to find

That this place, the one right here
will be the place I come to last
shall my flesh dry and rot here

I have come to the place to breath my last
and in this place I will come to rest
I find I can now rest my aching soul at last

Tis strange how a book
beheld by most as comical
and of little literary worth

Can so rekindle my passions
of word long absent from my mind
and tongue

But now I feel anew
awakened once again within
the need and love for the written word

Of my tongue and of those foreign
I feel once again the burning passion
that is my love of words

Be now in joy for time has come
for once again my words grace
the eyes of others

And in this way I share my passion
more over too I share my love
of the thing so dear to my heart

Words

~~~~~~~~
A little side note. This is a copy of what I said to myself moents ago after reading a few pages from a graphic novel of Mary Shelley's Fankenstein. I found it so strange and so invigorating that I felt I must share it with you all. I pray this find you all well, and of good mind to understand my words.
Indoor Aki(A poem written for an online friend, about said online friend)
Far too scary out there
outside
Indoor Aki will stay in
and hide
Live on chips and cookies
and fries
Indoor Aki the one who
never dies.
Her eyes on a screen
Her fingers on keys
A sign on her door
Do not disturb, please.
And then there's this one from a funny play through for a scary game.
You do you
And I'll do me
And we won't do each other
Probably
