For some new citizens or tourists just getting the hand of Storygames it offers a nice first step to showcase their writing without the added challenge of decision points, polls and all the other things that come with it.

Time Filler
Some of our more prolific authors post Linear stories inbetween chapters in their storygames. It offers a sedate time-scale that they can add to when they wish.

Once a month a topic and word count is announced (e.g. 1200 words on Horror involving betrayal).
It always has a good number of very varied entrants seeking to claim the coveted Winner's Belt and bragging privileges, and even a Mayoral fable prize.
