Here in IF lately, it seems that everyone has a "character" they play, and I think it would be very helpful for new players if we had a centralized spot where everyone posted and listed their IFian characters. List you description, your personality, your residence, your ideals, and your likes and dislikes. Please take time to work on these and make them as full as you can.
If you are a new player, you can also post the persona you want here so people can get to know you better.
This will also make it easier for people writing "IFian" games to have all the personalities in one place.
I would potentially like to see if this could be moved to Sticky status, but that's up to admin. 
(It also may be a good idea to list things such as gender and age, as well as profession. Of the character, not you yourself.)

Well, now, I've never been much of an RPer.
Crunchyfrog the character has appeared in a number of guises over the past couple of years, written by various different authors.
Crunchyfrog first appeared in The Hangover as a small-ish, green-ish creature with a large belly and skinny legs. Only real physical strength / attribute was being amphibian.
Gender - male.
Character - timid, cowardly, but when the time demanded it, he could show some surprising physical strength and bravery.
Not magical in the slightest, and the only skill is really swimming.

Not sure how it happened, but I'm the fat fairy. I still like hanging out at the IFTI, esp since I fell behind on my house payments and the lender repossessed it while I was away playing Warcraft.
Since I've lost weight from all that running around with the big green orc, maybe I should be called the skinny fairy now? The only slightly pudgy fairy?

You're the fat fairy, Flauna. It is a firm part of Ifian legend and it cannot be changed.
In RPGs, I play as a centaur with white hair, and every now and then this pops up in the Inn or an If-tale. Most of the time in the Inn, though, I am just a teenage, human girl. Unless I'm stepping on people. I like tea and the Leicester Tigers (or rugby in general), and I dislike people making strange faces and Meany. I live in a large pile of beanbags in the corner of the Inn, which is much bigger inside than outside, and has several rooms in it. I tackle people a lot of the time in the Inn.
Perhaps we should be able to add something to other people's descriptions, too? If they missed out something, for example. And nicks. We should definitely put people's nicks in there, so newbies know who we're adressing if, for example, I say that 'Cadbury's sg is really good, so I can't wait for the next chapter.'

Possibly something obscure like a Draugr, or perhaps just a mummy without all the hassle of the bandages.
Ummm....
I guess i use a lot of weaponry, many of them ridiculous and hated.
Possibly a direct result of being both a kleptomaniac and immortal.
ermmm....
Nicknames: Dead, DMW, Deady, Deadman, Pain in the Ass, something along those lines.

Hmmm. Until the last few months, in which I either became aware of/ more poeple joined, which were younger then me, I was teh 13 year old little ninja who was little to all. Now I'm the 14 year old annoying ninja. I have an ever growing armyof floating, sentint (did I comment of my spelling, and how bad it sucks?), baseball bats, of which I carved most myself. I also have an ever growing army of stuffed animals that are alive and often used as my chair. I can float, become a shadow, create new realms uon my wish which only I can get into, use all normal ninja skills, and am a total clutz unless in danger or concentrating really hard. My writing color varies, but is mainly purple. I'm very hyper, but also can come in a be slow and lethargic. I do not suggest poking me if you wish to live. So much as pretend to touch my mask and I will try to hurt you. As of yet my ninja mask has yet to be removed from my face in front of anyone. And I was on a sugar high as I wrote this, so yes, it is VERY long.

This will be useful to us, eventually. We're currently planning to begin collating/compiling data on Citizens that have been active in the last three months with a distinguished Form- or distinguished lack thereof- and should have appropriate files for an appreciable portion of the active population within the next few weeks- barring temporal constraints, of course.

Hey guys. Most of you have probably met me already, and there are possibly some mixed visions of me, as well as mixed opinions. But hey, I'm always up for a chat. 
So, let's see... I'm 18 years old, and 6' ft tall, brown hair and eyes (which you could notice from the pics I posted in the pics thread). As for the rest of my physical appearance, I'm usually in black trousers or jeans, with a black t-shirt and sometimes with a trenchcoat. If it's raining, that is. I usually hide my saber underneath it.
As for my character, those who know me might do a better (or more objective lol) description of me, but to put it shortly I'm an open-minded dancing freelancer with a great love for music and good stories.

Meh, anyhoo, typically I'm portrayed as you average mage, complete with mystical brown or navy robes and a variety of incantation powers that suspiciously go wrong much of the time, although mainly when it's Chinaren doing the writing.

As for me? Lilith, Lily, Lils. Queen of Fantasy Forest. 1/2 Fairy-witch, 1/2 Human. Gifted in most archaic weaponry as well as healing and magic with the elements, I'm 6 ft of irrepressible fun and a temper to match my hair color. I appear often enough in IF Tales because of how much I "used" to be around ((and will hopefully be around in this capacity soon)). I pal around with our Mayoress, NeverNeverGirl, her bodyguard, Syranore, and various other personalities in the Inn. I have a bad habit of putting song lyrics I relate to in my signature and I love it. I'm always up to chatter so PMs will get responses.

I remember that D-Lotus stuck me in one of his spoofy things, but I haven't the foggiest notion of the sort of character I was. I remember I always used to complain about being chained to my computer, and there is some vague memory I have that someone popped out of the monitor, or crept out of some door to break the chains or something, but I could be making that up for lack of a real memory... no idea what it was called or where it is. It was so long ago.

Status: Well, I'm a Lady, naturally.
Country: Well, I currently live in Australia, but my homecountry is the Valley of Shadows, somewhere in the middle of the pacific ocean.
Description: I look like a shadow, but today I be yours. Usually I'm the shadow of a tall, blonde thirteen year old girl. And yes, we do have minds of our own, thanks!
Talents: Shapeshifting, super speed and strength, and walking through anything, among other shadow secrets, which I could tell you, but that wouldn't be pleasant later.
Weapon Preference: Daggers, probably. Especially the ones with ruby-hilts.
Familiar: A wolf called Kheresin.

I am a half-Djinn. Or a demi-Djinn if you feel like alliteration. Despite my name, I am in fact a male. I tend to be rather quiet and hang around in the corners of the Inn when not stuck in RL. I have all of the Djinn's powers - summoning things, teleporting, changing shapes, etc - but less so, as I'm not fully Djinn. My form varies, but I usually appear as a human male of indeterminate age.

I sort of feel like I have, really  . I din't expect to be able to come back, but all my issues are finally resolved, so hopefully I'll get back on track soon.

I suppose I'll join the ranks of the long lost Ifians that posted here...
In the before times, in the long long ago, I was a well-meaning but inept messenge angel named Shyes. I came into the Inn one day and since then I've been sneaking out on my duties whenever possible to visit. Lately it's been harder to do than I would like, but hope lives on.
I still aspire to be promoted to Guardian Angel, and I've been working on my swordplay, healing abilities, and light generation powers. Occasionally, they actually work.

Um. I see.
Well, my name is scissorkitty, and I am a small female tabby cat with obvious human overtones. I am lazy, talkative, nosy and open to interpretation. My only notable talent is my multiple lives- none of which i'd like to lose, thanks.
i have yet to demonstrate any ability, as a cat, with scissors.. but i DO have claws.

A wandering six foot white haired man who tends to wear dark green hooded cloaks and always carries his three prized possessions with him. One is a hardened wood walking staff, his trusty, if a little rusty dwarven dirk, and his carved wooden handled elvish sword. He tends to be good natured and easy going most of the time. When threatened or angered his demeanor changes only in the fact that a weapon is most likely in his hand and the ever present smile on his face is deadly. He loves telling stories to young ones who will listen as he sits in the cool shade of a tree usually somewhere along Linear Lane.
People have been known to call him Klafarius, Klaf or Klarry (Thanks China).
