And thanks to Sugarplum, and Tikky, whose entries are now in. Round 3 can get going as soon as Phantomfan gets a memory in.
For those who have been waiting for some time now, I'll announce what we're doing for Round 3 now, so you can begin thinking about it.
Round 3 is going to have a bit of a prompt, to give this round of memories a theme.
The prompt is ... "A lesson learnt from a family member."
Each character now has 2 memories shaping them, so remember to take what's been learnt so far to ensure your new memory fits in.
Any questions, ask away,
No posting Round 3 entries, until I say Round 3 is open!

I'm sorry I've taken so long to get mine in, but I've been sick. At first I thought it was my just usual spring/winter allergy flu-like thing, but it turns out I have Tosenilities! * Don't worry, I don't have to get them removed, as it's only on one side. In the meantime, I've been pretty drugged (still a little gruggy today) to keep from coughing and therefore making me worse.
I hope to have my entry in by Thursday however.
Sorry for the delay.
*I probably spelled this wrong. I probably spelled a lot of things wrong in this post, as I still taking a very strong cough medicine which makes me for a lack of better word "loopy". But I think you can figured it out.

I too am sad that we never got round four going. I quite enjoyed this exercise, even if I did end up making everyone's characters sad and terribly depressing. (my bad guys)

No reason why we can't start anew. Smee had mentioned that he'd seen this on another site, but they didn't even finish the 2nd round. We probably did well to get as far as almost completing the third.
We could start a new one - with just 3 or 4 characters, but any number of contributors. At least then we might have more chance of finishing the characters and not need to depend on 8 individuals to be around all of the time....
Or... we could just pick 3 or 4 of what has been developed so far, and then whoever is available can chip in and finish them off through the remainder of the 8 rounds...
Just a thought...

I think it might be a little weird with more authors than characters. Would some people not write each round? I do see the point of fewer characters though.
What if, instead, we have multiple character groups? Pick a few of the people who have been here for a while, you, T-bird, me, and we can start our own circles. That way we'd still have enough characters for everyone to participate, but we'd still have a big enough pool so we could pinch hit while still keeping the circles small.
The problem though, is that it's a lot of work. And I don't have the pleasure of writing with all of you.

Yeah, we need the minimum amount of work - both for organising and for the actual writing.
3 or 4 rounds (rather than 8) would mean there'd be more chance of finishing the characters. Maybe each one could deal with a specific aspect of personality.
The people who actually write for the rounds would just be whoever's there at the time who wants to/has the time to do it.
If there are more people who want to write, then we could just add extra rounds.
And of course we need someone who's up for running it.
