Pruning Shears

Pruning is the bane of many a storygame and its owner - though the shears do not reduce citizens' post counts, they can send the biggest chapters to nothingness with the mere will of the wielder.

As such, only the Moderators are allowed to even behold the power of the shears - the honour of the sacred Moderation Tools being wielded by all in the City Council (provided it was only in their secret hall) was an honour they were stripped of long ago.

That is another story...but maybe someone else will tell you of the Great Possesion of Reiso. I know I can't be bothered to right now.

In the right hands though Pruning can keep a forum clean and clutter free, allowing the most recent and active new storygames the chance to get noticed. Without the occassional pruning session the forum could soon be buried under the corpses of dead storygames.
