Hey guys. Bad news. I'm headed for the hospital thusday. And I'm scared shitless. This will be the fourth operation on my ankle (the second didn't go, the third was to fix the blood clot from the third). Needless to say, it was a pretty fucked up for me. I lost 25 pounds in a matteer of days.
Now, this will of couse means I'll be adios for a while or too drugged up to type coherently.
But also, I as wondering if anyone had any crazy hospital stories!

My gosh... 4 surgeries on a single ankle. Hope your next one will be very successful!
I don't really have any crazy hospital stories, but I have a few vaguely amusing ones of my birth and childhood. Here's one I can think of off the top of my head.
When my mother was having me my dad was worried sick and he waited outside all night. I'm not sure on the details, but as he was waiting a doctor came through the hallway pushing a patient on those wheely beds, so my dad jumped up and went beside the bed, and asked, "Is it a boy or a girl?"
Of course it turns out that the patient was NOT my mother, but a man. Said man was very irritated and apparently thought my dad was crazy.

| I have no hospital stories. I have had a scalpel cut into my leg to take out a spliter but that is mostly it.

I wouldn't qualify this as a crazy hospital story, more of a funny one.
After having a surgery to get my back fused to fixed a herniated disc, I awoke from my unconscious state. I looked across the assembled faces of loved one and friends and I spotted Resio. I pointed at him, then I pointed at the small small lap table in front of me and said something to the affect of,
"You. Me. Roleplay!"
Then I promptly fell back to sleep.

Well...I don't really have any funny hospital stories but there was this once at the dentist when they had to pull out four teeth. long story.
I just want to say this; there is nothing wrong with crying. And that 4 year old girl who was pointing at me and laughing better watch out.

Wow... Good luck to you and the surgery! I myself have a horrible memory and therefor I may have many crazy and hilarious hospital stories... none of which I can remember.

Stories... I had surgery to correct deviation in my eye when I was 3, and I'm told I wandered round the hospital pointing out my slippers (they may have had faces on) for people to admire.

But at least the high from the meds will give you good story ideas! 
Crazy hospital stories...?
Actually yes.
And this one is rather recent. (by that I mean it happened about a month ago)
I was biking home from work and my tires got caught inside of the trolley tracks in the street, sending me crashing to the ground. Luckily, I had a helmet. Also luckily, I was only laying stunned on the train tracks for a few minutes before some tourists found me, called 911 and got me to a hospital. But I broke my wrist, and my glasses snapped and gouged me through and above my eyebrow- earning me 16 stitches and the nickname "Lopsided Harry Potter".
That's my story! Enjoy!

No hospital stories, but i am due to have my eye cut out with a scalpel (and replaced with an untested one invented by MIT grad students) at work this coming Saturday...

Really what? Really do I remember it, or really did I have an operation on my eyes?
I really did have an operation on my eyes to stop them completely diverging (one of them's still dodgy) and I really don't remember it. I do remember insisting I put my eye drops in myself, however.

Hmmm, funny hospital stories you say?
I was noticing after awhile that I was really losing some height, like scary height loss. Maybe I had osteoporoses or something. So I hurried over to the walk in clinic and begged the receptionist to let me see a doctor quickly. He said to calm down and be a little patient.
What's that? You wanted real stories, not pun jokes? Well why didn't you say so?!
